Meaning behind the piece: 

Nature doesn’t strain to grow. It responds to attention, to light, to care. When I painted this, I kept thinking about how often we abandon ourselves too quickly. We decide the soil is exhausted. We assume nothing new can come from it.

There’s a steadiness available to us. A rhythm that isn’t frantic. A way of living that doesn’t revolve around proving or performing. This painting feels like an invitation to trust that rhythm. To stop trimming back the parts of you that feel too much, too layered, too alive. the moment you stop fighting your own depth, something shifts. You start to notice how much life is already moving through you.
